Muzaffarabad – In the wake of the Pahalgam tragedy and escalating India-Pakistan tensions with the looming threat of a false flag operation, the All Parties Alliance has submitted an 11-point charter of demands to the government, focusing on public safety, civil-military cooperation, and preparedness in Azad Jammu and Kashmir's sensitive areas, including Leepa Valley and thirteen electoral constituencies along the Line of Control (LoC).
During a press briefing, All Parties Alliance Chairman and candidate for Assembly Constituency 7 (Leepa Valley), Shaukat Javed Mir, emphasized the urgent construction of bunkers, implementation of National Cadet Corps (NCC) training in both public and private educational institutions, and deployment of expert doctors and paramedical staff in hospitals.
Key Points of the 11-Point Charter:
Establishment of defense committees comprising retired soldiers and local volunteers.
Provision of free arms licenses and first-aid training.
Revival of night watch patrols to counter terrorism threats.
Allocation of government funds to cover inter-district ambulance services and treatment costs.
Creation of a monitoring cell including military, civil administration, and local government representatives to counter unnecessary panic and ensure trust-building.
Interest-free loans for youth and free provision of educational fees and stationery to prevent displacement.
Suspension of financial institution recoveries and utility bills for two years.
Stockpiling of essential commodities like wheat and flour to last a year.
Shaukat Javed Mir also called for prompt action against defamation of Pakistan Army and institutions, proposing a social media framework at the Union Council level to counter propaganda. He lauded the role of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and national security agencies, expressing full support and commitment to sacrifice for Pakistan's sovereignty.
He further declared Pakistan and its armed forces as the red line for the people of Kashmir, affirming that a strong federation is an inseparable part of their faith. He condemned India and Israel as occupying powers, while praising Pakistan's political and military leadership for upholding human rights and exhibiting noble intent.
In a strong message, Mir stated, “India’s fabricated measures have united the Pakistani and Kashmiri nations like the Himalayas,” adding that the green crescent flag is a symbol of their faith and national pride.
