**Benazir Income Support Program Disburses Funds to Millions of Families in Sindh**

**Hyderabad (July 29, 2024):** Zulfiqar Ali Sheikh, Director General of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), announced that the BISP is currently providing financial assistance to approximately 2.5 million households in Sindh. Under the quarterly installment for April to June, each registered household is receiving a financial aid of PKR 10,500. So far, a total of PKR 24,772,482,000 has been distributed among 235,9284 eligible families across the province.
In an interview with a private TV channel, Sheikh emphasized that as of now, there are 131,645 women beneficiaries who have yet to collect their payments for the April to June quarter. These women must claim their payments from BISP offices or payment centers by July 31, 2024. If they fail to do so, their benefits will be forfeited.
Additionally, Sheikh urged all registered beneficiaries of BISP to visit the BISP offices or Dynamic Registration Centers in their respective tehsils for their re-survey. The BISP policy requires that registered beneficiaries undergo a re-survey every three years to ensure continued eligibility for benefits. He stressed the importance of this process, noting that failure to complete the re-survey could result in the suspension of benefits.
For the re-certification process, Sheikh advised that beneficiaries bring their children’s B-form, their own CNIC, and their husband’s CNIC to the registration centers in each district. The re-survey is a crucial step to maintain their status as eligible beneficiaries under the Benazir Income Support Program.
